Fort Bend County Libraries’ Adult Services staff at Missouri City Branch Library,
1530 Texas Parkway, will present free, introductory computer classes this month on using the Internet, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel. The classes will consist of a hands-on introduction to basic skills for people who would like to learn more about using these tools.
The “Hands-On Internet” class will take place on Thursday, March 11, beginning at
10:00 am, in the Conference Room.
The “MS Word Survival Basics” class for version 2003 will take place on Thursday,
March 18, beginning at 10:00 am, in the Conference Room.
The “MS Excel Survival Basics” class for version 2003 will take place on Thursday,
March 25, beginning at 10:00 am, in the Conference Room.
The classes are free and open to the public. Seating is limited, however, and reservations are required. To register online at the library’s website (www.fortbend.lib.tx.us), click on “Calendar,” select “Missouri City Branch,” and find the program. Participants may also register by calling the library at 281-499-1511, or by visiting the library.
