Fort Bend Center for Independent Living is a non-profit, non-residential community-based resource organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with disabilities. Our independent living philosophy is the full inclusion, equal opportunity and participation of persons with disabilities in every aspect of community life. Our five core services are information and referral, advocacy, independent living skills training, peer support, and relocation from nursing homes/institutions to the community.
